Origins

GTK, originally GICF, was conceived as a basic cataloguing tool for media in 2014. Since then, we have worked closely and in Partnership with the UK MoD's National Centre for Geospatial Intelligence to build GTK. It brings big data, machine learning and a scalable platform to manage their GEOINT holdings.

Raster & Vector Types

At the core of GTK, we have built in the ability to both import and export over 200 types of Raster and Vector files. Whether it be as part of a conversion workflow utilising a tool such as NiFi or during the cataloguing of your holdings.

NITF 2.1

Most importantly, we can handle any type of NITF 2.1 at any file size. Our custom NITF reader was designed to handle files of any size due to its revolutionary chunked-buffer caching approach.

Advanced Detection

Utilising the OCULUS module, our platform seamlessly provides a rapid solution to automated object detection and more importantly recognition. The engine provides a best percentile estimate of its recognition of an object, whether it be an AKULA class SSBN or a commercial B777-200, this can then be reviewed by an analyst.

Equipment Recognition

OCULUS has been trained to recognise all types of equipment, whether that be boats, submarines, ships, planes, fighter aircraft, bombers, tanks, helicopters or silos. Each version of the SENTINEL algorithm reflects a different parent class of object.
